Training week #6 is off to a quick start. This morning my legs felt like garbage but according to the schedule I was supposed to put in 1 mile of warm up (~8:00 pace) 2 miles @ marathon pace (7:15) and 1 mile of cool down (~8:00) and I hit that no problem. Quickly following that was a good hour lifting legs in the weight room. On top of all that, I have my running class on Tuesday, in which we had to run around the Texas A&M campus to all of the different fountains which racked up another 3.6 miles at about a 7:20 pace so I am thoroughly satisfied with today's results.
The best part of this was the weather; finally up to 50-degrees when I rolled out the front door this morning.
